Every month, A.B.C offers out a free e-newsletter, keeping you updated on what is coming up and happening in the world of beekeeping in Calgary and area. Articles include practices and advice for urban beekeeping (standard, organic, and treatment free strategies), editorials by members of the community doing projects ranging from CSA Farming, Permaculture, alternative building materials, and more. As well, we like to offer opportunities for members of the beekeeping community to share their passions, experiences, and ideas with bees in the urban setting.
A.B.C has pulled together answers to many common questions about bees and beekeeping. This resource offers you a quick and east way to learn about bees in your community.
Every now and then, A.B.C comes across great films, resources, and websites that can be helpful!
A.B.C started the Community Hive Chatroom to offer a direct avenue to help urban beekeepers share resources, knowledge, find mentors, and experiences in real time. The chat room is free to use and register, accomidating new and experienced beekeepers!
